On the evening of the match, Levante welcomed Getafe to the Ciutat de València Stadium, where they clinched a 1-0 win in a high-stakes encounter.
The decisive moment came in the 82nd minute when Carlos Espí found the net, marking the only goal of the match. A well-executed header after a perfect cross from Manu Sánchez proved to be the difference.
Levante had a couple of opportunities to extend their lead but failed to convert two penalties. Adrián de la Fuente missed in the 60th minute when the Getafe goalkeeper made a brilliant save, and a late effort by Iván Romero in the 91st minute was also thwarted.
Carlos Espí was undoubtedly the standout player, contributing significantly with his goal, five shots on target, and five successful passes.
