On Matchday 14 of the Clausura, Tijuana, known as the Xolos, triumphed away from home against FC Juárez, taking all three points with a hard-fought victory. The first goal came from Kevin Castañeda in the 42nd minute of the first half, showcasing a brilliant play. Ramiro Árciga followed suit by scoring the second goal just six minutes into the second half. FC Juárez managed to break through with a penalty scored by Guilherme Castilho in the 43rd minute of the same half.
Castañeda’s remarkable finish came thanks to a precise cross from Mourad El Ghezouani, allowing him to slot the ball into the net defended by Sebastián Jurado Roca, sending the stadium into a frenzy.
FC Juárez had a close chance to reduce the deficit when Manuel Mayorga hit the post with a shot in the 57th minute of the second half, thwarting their opportunity.
Clearly, Kevin Castañeda stood out as the star of the match, contributing not only with a goal but also making three attempts on target. Ramiro Árciga was instrumental as well, netting one goal and firing three shots towards the goal.
