The game saw Portland take the lead with two goals scored by Juan Mosquera in the 35th minute and David da Costa in the 46th minute of the first half. However, Vancouver responded vigorously, registering goals from Édier Ocampo in the 6th minute, Thomas Müller with a penalty in the 45th minute of the second half, and Sebastian Berhalter in the 49th minute to ultimately claim the victory.
The standout performer of the match was undoubtedly Sebastian Berhalter, who netted one of Vancouver’s goals. Édier Ocampo also shone as a vital defender, contributing significantly with an early goal.
