In a thrilling encounter on Matchday 7 of the Apertura Tournament, Argentinos Juniors showcased their strength by defeating Aldosivi decisively. The match, held at the Mundialista Stadium in Mar del Plata, saw Iván Morales open the scoring in the 28th minute of the first half, followed shortly by a brilliant goal from Román Riquelme in the 37th minute, effectively sealing the victory for the Bicho.
The standout moment of the match came when Riquelme netted his goal after receiving a precise pass from Hernán López Muñoz. With composure, Riquelme placed the ball into the bottom right corner, leaving the opposing goalkeeper with no chance.
Riquelme’s performance earned him the title of Man of the Match, as he not only scored but also made key defensive plays, clearing two dangerous balls.
Brayan Cortés, the goalkeeper for Argentinos Juniors, had a commendable match, making three critical saves to deny Aldosivi any chance of finding the back of the net.
