On Saturday, Wanderers showcased their prowess by defeating Cerro with a dominant score of 3-0 in the 9th round of the Apertura. The opening goal was scored by Mateo Levato at the 42nd minute of the first half, expertly converting a penalty kick with finesse.
The second half saw Wanderers solidify their lead, with Jonathan Urretaviscaya striking early at the 46th minute, extending the advantage with a well-executed play. Nearly ten minutes later, Nicolás Olivera sealed the match with a header in the 73rd minute, bringing the final score to 3-0.
Nicolás Olivera stood out as the star of the match, contributing significantly not only with his goal but also through strong defensive plays. Jonathan Urretaviscaya was also pivotal, finding the net for one of the goals.
