In an impressive display at the home ground, Wanderers claimed a dominant 3-0 victory over Cerro during the ninth round of the Apertura this Saturday. The opening goal came from Mateo Levato in the 42nd minute, skillfully converting a penalty kick with precision. The second half began with more fireworks as Jonathan Urretaviscaya doubled the lead just one minute after the restart, netting a goal from a well-executed play. The final nail in the coffin was struck by Nicolás Olivera in the 28th minute of the second half, who scored with a powerful header.
Nicolás Olivera was undoubtedly the standout player of the match, contributing significantly to the scoreline with his goal. Jonathan Urretaviscaya also shone brightly, adding another goal to Wanderers’ tally.
