San Lorenzo initially fell behind when Antony Alonso found the net at the 30th minute of the first half. However, the Ciclón quickly responded, leveling the score with Alexis Cuello’s goal just two minutes into the second half.
One of the match highlights was Antony Alonso’s spectacular opening goal, which ricocheted off the right post, showcasing his impressive individual effort on the right flank.
In a missed opportunity, Nicolás Tripichio struck the post with a shot right at the 46th minute of the first half, preventing San Lorenzo from equalizing before the break.
Despite dominating possession with 66% compared to Dep. Riestra’s 34%, San Lorenzo couldn’t translate this advantage into a win.
Alexis Cuello emerged as the standout player of the match, scoring once, taking two shots on target, and completing 12 successful passes, highlighting his impactful performance.
