On matchday 12 of the Clausura, Pachuca faced Toluca FC at Estadio Hidalgo, with both teams settling for a 1-1 draw.
Toluca took the lead just before halftime, with Franco Romero scoring at the 45-minute mark. However, Pachuca equalized through Elías Montiel in the 71st minute.
The leveler for Pachuca was the result of an impressive team play, where Montiel found the net after receiving a pass from Robert Kenedy and sent the ball to the lower left corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
Elías Montiel was undoubtedly the standout player, scoring one goal and threatening the Toluca goal on two additional occasions.
Franco Romero also proved crucial for Toluca, contributing with one goal to his team.
