Newell`s clinches late victory against Gimnasia (Mendoza)

In the match corresponding to the 12th round of the Apertura, Newells starred as the host against Gimnasia (Mendoza), winning the encounter with a score of 1-0. Walter Mazzantti etched his name on the scoresheet by netting the only goal in the 85th minute of the second half.</p>
<p>After receiving a well-placed pass from Jerónimo Russo, Mazzantti struck towards the goal, successfully bypassing the opposing goalkeeper to celebrate his decisive strike.</p>
<p>Earlier in the match, Bruno Cabrera came close to doubling the lead in the 79th minute, hitting the crossbar with his shot, leaving the crowd yearning for more goals.</p>
