The Canalla emerged victorious at the Estadio Gigante de Arroyito, defeating Barracas Central 2-0 in the fifth match of the Apertura. Enzo Copetti opened the scoring in the 57th minute of the second half, followed shortly after by Ángel Di María’s goal at the 89th minute, which sealed the match.
Copetti’s goal was a stunning header, following a precise pass from Agustín Sández, finding the left post of goalkeeper Marcelo Miño. Di María showcased his prowess again late in the game to further secure the win after an earlier attempt hit the post in the 57th minute.
Ángel Di María was undoubtedly the standout player of the match, performing exceptionally well with a goal and a total of six shots on target. Enzo Copetti also impressed, contributing one goal and taking two shots during the game.
