The breakthrough for Tigre came from David Romero, who found the net in the first half at the 48th minute. However, Racing Club responded, with Gabriel Rojas equalizing in the 34th minute of the second half. The game took a decisive turn when Ignacio Russo scored in the 40th minute, followed by Gonzalo Martínez who scored a stunning goal in the 44th minute, sealing the win for Tigre.
A highlight of the match was Gonzalo Martínez’s incredible shot that found the top right corner of the net, impossible for the goalkeeper to stop. His performance, alongside that of David Romero, was crucial for Tigre’s win.
While Racing Club held 65% possession throughout the match, they could not convert this advantage into goals, demonstrating the efficient counter-attacking play of Tigre.
Gabriel Rojas emerged as the standout player for Racing Club, scoring one goal, completing 48 accurate passes, and making two attempts at goal. On the other side, David Romero had a significant impact with his goal, two shots on target, and two successful passes.
