The match held on Friday between Independiente, known as El Rojo, and Estudiantes, referred to as El Pincha, concluded with both teams sharing the points in a 1-1 draw.
Independiente initially gained the upper hand with Luciano Cabral scoring in the 44th minute of the first half. However, Estudiantes equalized just after halftime, with Fabricio Pérez finding the net at the 0 minute mark of the second half.
Fabricio Pérez was the standout performer of the match, contributing significantly with one goal and completing 17 successful passes. Independiente’s Luciano Cabral also made his mark by scoring one goal and achieving 13 accurate passes.
During an exciting moment in the first half, Independiente’s Matías Abaldo dazzled fans by nutmegging Estudiantes’ Gabriel Neves at the 28-minute mark.
Independiente’s head coach, Gustavo Quinteros, employed a tactical formation of 4-5-1, starting with Rodrigo Rey in goal.
