Unión and Platense battled to a 0-0 draw at the Avenida Stadium in the inaugural match of the Apertura season.
Matías Mansilla emerged as the star of the match, brilliantly saving six shots on target to keep Platense at bay. His counterpart, Matías Borgogno, wasn’t far behind, making four critical saves that secured a point for his team.
Leonardo Madelón, the coach of Unión, implemented a 5-2-3 formation with Mansilla in goal.
