The Bravos suffered a 0-1 defeat against Chivas in a tightly contested match during the second round of the Clausura at the Benito Juárez Olympic Stadium. The hero of the night, Jonathan Padilla, struck the decisive goal in the 48th minute of the second half, ensuring the win for Chivas.
Just minutes before halftime, FC Juárez nearly took the lead when José Rodríguez unleashed a powerful shot that rattled the post, leaving the home crowd in disbelief.
Jonathan Padilla was undoubtedly the standout player, scoring the crucial goal that sealed the victory for Chivas. Equally significant was goalkeeper Raúl Rangel, who made three vital saves to keep his team in the game.
Under the guidance of head coach Pedro Caixinha, FC Juárez employed a 4-5-1 formation with Sebastián Jurado in goal, supported by defenders Francisco Nevarez, Jesús Murillo, Moisés Mosquera, and Eder López Castro.
