Atlético Mineiro and Flamengo played to a hard-fought draw in their 36th matchday showdown on Tuesday evening at the Arena MRV.
The first half saw Atlético Mineiro take the lead with an impressive goal from Bernard in the 34th minute. However, Flamengo fought back and leveled the score just moments into the second half, with Bruno Henrique finding the net in the 46th minute.
In a dramatic turn of events, Samuel Lino hit the woodwork twice, thwarting Flamengo’s efforts to take the lead.
Bruno Henrique was undoubtedly the standout player, netting one goal and taking two shots on target for Flamengo. Bernard also shone for Atlético Mineiro, contributing a goal and having two attempts at goal during the match.
