América de Cali appeared to be on the brink of defeat when, 40 minutes into the second half, Jean Pestaña inadvertently turned the ball into his own net, equalizing the earlier goal scored by Cristian Barrios in the 18th minute of the same half.
The standout player of the match was Jorge Soto from América de Cali, who showcased remarkable skills by saving six shots that could have changed the outcome of the match.
