The match saw Tadeo Allende shine with a brace, scoring in the 61st and 73rd minutes, highlighting Miami’s formidable offensive strength. Additionally, Lionel Messi opened the scoring with a header in the 18th minute, while Mateo Silvetti added another in the second half (56th minute).
Messi’s performance positioned him as the standout player of the match. The Argentine forward not only scored once but also attempted four shots on goal and completed 41 successful passes, demonstrating his influence on the pitch.
Allende’s contributions were equally vital, as he recorded two goals, executed 28 accurate passes, reclaimed possession of the ball three times, and made two attempts on goal.
FC Cincinnati’s head coach, Pat Noonan, fielded a 3-5-2 formation with Roman Celentano as goalkeeper, supported by defenders Nick Hagglund, Miles Robinson, and Teenage Hadebe.
