In a thrilling encounter at Chase Stadium, Inter Miami delivered a stunning performance, defeating Nashville SC with a convincing 4-0 scoreline in the MLS quarter-finals.
Under the guidance of coach Javier Mascherano, Miami demonstrated clear dominance throughout the match, with standout contributions from Tadeo Allende and Lionel Messi, both netting two goals each. Allende scored in the 72nd and 75th minutes of the second half, while Messi found the net earlier at the 9th and 38th minutes of the first half.
The opening goal came thanks to a brilliant play initiated by Messi, who received a pass from Allende and unleashed a powerful shot from the edge of the area into the bottom left corner in just the ninth minute.
Messi was undoubtedly the man of the match, contributing not only with two goals but also completing 28 key passes and attempting three shots on goal.
Allende also proved to be a vital player for the team, as he achieved two goals himself, along with 11 accurate passes and two shots on goal.
