The home team took the lead in the 15th minute when Eom Jisung found the net, breaking the deadlock. The advantage was doubled in the 75th minute of the second half by Oh Hyeongyu, who secured the win for South Korea.
Eom Jisung stood out as the man of the match, netting the opening goal. His performance was pivotal in securing the victory.
Oh Hyeongyu also made a crucial contribution by scoring the second goal, demonstrating his attacking prowess.
South Korea’s manager, Hong Myungbo, implemented a 4-3-3 formation with Kim Seunggyu in goal; a defensive line comprising Lee Myung Jae, Kim Minjae, Lee Hanbeom, and Kim Moonhwan; a midfield trio of Park Jinseob, Kim Jingyu, and Hwang Inbeom; and an attacking front featuring Eom Jisung, Son Heungmin, and Lee Donggyeong.
