Lanús triumphed on their home ground against San Lorenzo, clinching a 2-1 victory in the 11th round of the Clausura. The Granate controlled the match effectively, establishing a comfortable 2-0 lead with goals from Sasha Marcich in the 28th minute of the first half and Walter Bou just after the break at the 52nd minute.
San Lorenzo made attempts to turn the tide but only managed to score once, with Diego Herazo finding the net in the 77th minute after a well-constructed play.
Alexis Cuello of San Lorenzo came close to equalizing twice, hitting the posts with his shots, which left him frustrated as he felt the sting of near misses.
