The match held this Saturday between Pumas UNAM and Tigres concluded in a dramatic 1-1 draw.
Pumas took the lead with a goal from José Macías in the 85th minute of the second half. However, Tigres responded swiftly and equalized with a timely strike from Ángel Correa right at the 90+6 minute mark.
It is worth noting that there were two missed penalties during the game. Aaron Ramsey failed to convert a penalty in the 68th minute by shooting wide, and Nicolás Ibáñez had his penalty saved by the goalkeeper in the 91st minute, denying him an equalizer.

Pumas’ head coach, Efraín Juárez, set his team in a 4-5-1 formation with Keylor Navas guarding the net; Pablo Bennevendo, Rubén Duarte, Nathan Silva, and Álvaro Angulo forming the defensive line; José Luis Caicedo, Santiago Trigos, Pedro Vite, Aaron Ramsey, and Jorge Ruvalcaba in midfield; and Guillermo Martínez leading the attack.
On the other hand, Tigres, managed by Guido Pizarro, adopted a 4-4-2 setup with Nahuel Guzmán in goal; Jesús Garza, Rômulo, Juan José Purata, and Marco Farfan in defense; Diego Lainez, Bernardo Parra, Fernando Gorriarán, and Ozziel Herrera in midfield; and Ángel Correa and Edgar López on the front line.
Referee Óscar Mejía García officiated the match.
In their next fixtures, Pumas will travel to face FC Juárez, while Tigres will host Atlas at the Estadio Universitario.
