In an exciting clash in Week 23 of the MLS, New York City FC emerged victorious against Columbus Crew with a score of 3-2. Hannes Wolf was the hero of the match, netting two goals (47’ 1H, 27’ 2H) that fueled NYCFC’s comeback. Julián Fernández added another goal shortly after, at the 48th minute of the second half. The Crew had their moments to take the lead, with Daniel Gazdag converting a penalty at the 39th minute of the first half, and Wessam Abou Ali finding the net at the 14th minute of the second half.
Hannes Wolf’s outstanding performance earned him the title of Man of the Match, as he not only scored twice but also attempted four shots on target throughout the game.
Julián Fernández also showcased his skills at Yankee Stadium, contributing one goal to the NYCFC tally.

The match, officiated by referee Sergii Boiko, highlighted the competitive spirit of both teams.
