Jamaica showcased their dominance by convincingly defeating Bermuda 4-0 in a recent fixture at the National Sports Centre. Under the leadership of Steve McClaren, the Jamaican side executed a flawless game plan, taking an early lead just 5 minutes into the match with a brilliantly crafted goal from Damion Lowe.
The scoreline quickly expanded with a goal from Renaldo Cephas in the 26th minute of the first half, followed by another from Kasey Palmer in the 58th minute of the second half. Bermuda struggled to pose a significant threat and failed to recover, allowing Shamar Nicholson to seal the victory with a goal right before the conclusion of the match in the second half.
Damion Lowe was instrumental in the match, distinguishing himself as a standout performer for Jamaica by scoring one of the goals. Kasey Palmer also made his mark by contributing another goal to the team’s tally.
Bermuda’s head coach, Michael Findlay, employed a 3-4-3 formation with Dale Eve guarding the net, supported defensively by Reece Jones Jr., Julian Carpenter, and Harry Twite. Ne-Jai Tucker, Kane Crichlow, Willie Clemons, and Reggie Lambe occupied the midfield, while Djair Parfitt, Deniche Hill, and Nahki Wells led the attack.
On the other hand, Jamaica operated under a 4-4-2 formation, featuring Jahmali Waite as the goalkeeper, backed by a defense comprising Dexter Lembikisa, Gregory Leigh, Richard King, and Damion Lowe. Kasey Palmer, Isaac Hayden, Jonathan Russell, and Tyrese Campbell formed the midfield line, with Bailey Cadamarteri and Renaldo Cephas up front.
