Orlando City SC dominated the match against Inter Miami, finishing with a convincing 4-1 scoreline in the MLS week 23 clash. Luis Muriel was the standout performer, scoring twice at the 1st and 49th minutes of the second half. Martín Ojeda netted another for the home side at the 57th minute, with Marco Pasalic adding a fourth goal shortly before the end at the 88th minute. Inter Miami’s lone goal came from Yannick Bright in the 4th minute of the first half.
Ojeda sent the crowd into a frenzy with his stunning goal just after the halftime mark. He received a superb assist from Muriel and finished with a powerful strike that left goalkeeper Óscar Ustari with no chance to save.
Despite the positive outcome, luck was not entirely on Orlando’s side as Muriel’s attempts hit the woodwork on two separate occasions.
Muriel’s performance was impressive; he finished the match with two goals, fired five shots at the opposition’s goal, and completed 19 successful passes.
Martín Ojeda was also a key contributor, scoring one goal, making 35 successful passes, and attempting five shots on goal throughout the match.
