On Sunday, Palmeiras secured a narrow victory against Ceará with a scoreline of 2-1 in the 19th round of the Brasileirao. Ceará took the lead in the match with a goal from Lourenço just five minutes into the second half. However, Palmeiras turned the tide with two quick goals from José Manuel López (21st minute of the second half, converting a penalty) and Vitor Roque (23rd minute, following a brilliant play).
Vitor Roque was undoubtedly the star of the match, scoring one goal and having two attempts on goal throughout the game.
José Manuel López also made a significant contribution, netting another goal for Palmeiras.

Meanwhile, Ceará, managed by Leonardo Rodrigues Condé, lined up in a 4-4-2 formation with Bruno Ferreira as the goalkeeper; Fabiano, Marllon, Willian Machado, and Matheus Bahia forming the defensive line; Lucas Mugni, Diego, Richardson, and Lourenço in midfield; and Pedro Raúl and Antonio Galeano up front.
Referee Lucas Torezin officiated the match.
Looking ahead, Palmeiras will travel to face Botafogo in their next match, while Ceará will host RB Bragantino at the Governador Plácido Castelo stadium.
With this victory, Palmeiras remains in third place on the league table with 36 points, while Ceará sits in twelfth place with 22 points.
