In a gripping encounter during MLS Week 23, Jack McGlynn found the back of the net twice as Houston Dynamo fought back from a two-goal deficit to tie Austin FC 2-2. McGlynn scored both of his goals in the second half, netting a penalty kick in the 34th minute and following it up with another goal at the 43rd minute.
Austin FC had initially taken the lead, with goals from Ilie Sánchez at the 30-minute mark of the first half and Guilherme Biro just 10 minutes later, showcasing their offensive prowess with both a strike and a header.
Jack McGlynn’s performance was standout, not only for scoring twice but also for taking two shots, demonstrating his offensive threat throughout the match.
Guilherme Biro, playing defensively for Austin FC, was instrumental as well, contributing with one goal and clearing four dangerous attempts from Houston.
