The hosts faced a challenging start, with Fabio Pereyra scoring a header just 2 minutes into the match to put Huracán ahead. However, Edwuin Cetré scored in the 64th minute, followed by Alexis Castro netting another goal 12 minutes later, both goals turning the tide in favor of Estudiantes.
In the 76th minute, Alexis Castro lifted the spirits of Estudiantes fans with a stunning finish into the top left corner, thanks to an assist from Cetré. This performance solidified Castro’s place as the standout player of the match, contributing significantly with his goal and accurate passes.
Despite Huracán displaying better overall play with numerous clear chances, totaling 19 shots (9 on target and 9 wide), they lacked the finishing touch, resulting in their defeat. Estudiantes’ Edwuin Cetré also shone, scoring once and providing several key passes.
