Atlético Tucumán achieved a hard-fought 2-1 victory at home over San Martín (SJ) in the first match of the Clausura tournament. The home team struck first with Franco Nicola scoring in the 3rd minute, while a last-gasp goal by Nicolás Laméndola in the 49th minute of the second half secured the win. San Martín managed to pull one back just before halftime with an own goal from Clever Ferreira in the 45th minute.
Under the guidance of coach Lucas Pusineri, Atlético Tucumán deployed a 4-4-2 formation, featuring Juan Ignacio González as the goalkeeper. The defense comprised Damián Martínez, Marcelo Ortiz, Clever Ferreira, and Ignacio Galván. In midfield, Carlos Auzqui, Adrián Sánchez, Kevin López, and Franco Nicola took charge, while the attack was led by Mateo Coronel and Leandro Díaz.
On the visiting side, Leandro Romagnoli opted for a 4-3-3 setup with Matías Borgogno guarding the goal. His defensive line included Alejandro Molina, Esteban Burgos, Luciano Recalde, and Lucas Diarte. The midfield trio was made up of Diego González, Nicolás Watson, and Sebastián González, while Tomás Fernández, Federico Anselmo, and Horacio Tijanovich spearheaded the front line.
