In the 19th week of MLS action, Real Salt Lake hosted St. Louis City in a thrilling match that concluded with a 3-2 victory for the home side. The hosts’ goals were scored by Noel Caliskan (5’ 1T), Diogo Gonçalves (42’ 1T), and an own goal from Josh Yaro (63’ 2T). For St. Louis City, João Klauss (50’ 2T) and Josh Yaro (80’ 2T) managed to find the net.
A standout moment was Josh Yaro’s effort in the 80th minute, where, after an assist from Marcel Hartel, he executed a perfect shot to the lower left corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
Noel Caliskan was named the Man of the Match, effectively contributing with a goal and successfully clearing three threats from the danger zone.
Another key player was João Klauss, who not only scored for St. Louis City but also registered seven shots on target against Real Salt Lake.
