In the sixth round of Group B, Racing (U) faced Progreso at Estadio Parque Osvaldo Roberto and achieved a convincing 3-0 victory. Esteban Da Silva was the first to find the net, scoring from open play in the 38th minute of the first half. Just 14 minutes into the second half, Sebastián Sosa Sánchez extended the lead with a header. Shortly after, Bautista Tomatis capped off the scoring, beating the opposing goalkeeper to make it 3-0 in the 37th minute of the second half.
Esteban Da Silva was named the best player of the match, contributing one goal to Racing (U)’s impressive performance. Bautista Tomatis also shone brightly at the Estadio Parque Osvaldo Roberto, adding another goal to the team’s tally.
Racing’s coach, Cristian Chambain, opted for a 3-4-3 formation. Lautaro Amadé guarded the goal, backed by a defensive line consisting of Gastón Bueno, Ignacio Brazionis, and Martín Ferreira.
