In an exciting showdown at El Campín, Alfredo Morelos was the star of the match, netting two goals that propelled At. Nacional to a 2-1 triumph over Santa Fe. Demonstrating his prowess in the box, Morelos opened the scoring in the 6th minute with a penalty kick. He struck again in the 36th minute, heading the ball into the net to solidify At. Nacional’s advantage.
Although Hugo Rodallega temporarily leveled the playing field with a goal after 25 minutes, it was Morelos’ brilliance that ultimately decided the outcome of the encounter.
Morelos was undeniably the standout performer, tallying two goals and taking four shots on target throughout the match.
Santa Fe’s Rodallega also made a mark, scoring once and attempting five shots at the goal.
Santa Fe’s coach, Jorge Bava, deployed a 4-5-1 formation with Andrés Mosquera guarding the goal; the defense composed of Elvis Perlaza, Emanuel Olivera, Víctor Moreno, and Christian Mafla; while Jhojan Torres, Daniel Torres, Santiago Mosquera, Yilmar Velásquez, and Omar Fernández controlled the midfield, leaving Rodallega up front.

Nacional, led by coach Javier Gandolfi, opted for a 4-5-1 setup as well, with David Ospina in goal; the defensive line consisting of Andrés Román, Juan Arias, William Tesillo, and Camilo Cándido; Jorman Campuzano, Juan Manuel Zapata, Marino Hinestroza, Billy Arce, and Andrés Sarmiento in midfield; and Morelos leading the attack.
