In a thrilling Southern Classic match held at La Fortaleza, Lanús emerged victorious with a narrow 1-0 win over Banfield, highlighted by a crucial goal from Yoshan Valois in the 87th minute. The forward’s header, assisted by Lucas Besozzi, found the back of the net just as time was running out.
Yoshan Valois was undoubtedly the star of the match, contributing significantly with one goal and two shots on target. Marcelino Moreno also made his presence felt, taking three shots in an impressive performance.
