In the clash at Gillette Stadium, the New England Revolution faced off against DC United in a Week 7 MLS showdown, emerging victorious with a score of 1-0. Alhassan Yusuf turned out to be the match-winner, netting the only goal in the 33rd minute of the first half.
Yusuf took advantage of a well-placed cross from Dor Turgeman, firing a shot that beat the efforts of goalkeeper Sean Johnson.
Defender Peyton Miller of the Revolution and DC United midfielder Matti Peltola both came close to scoring, with their attempts hitting the woodwork.
