At Estadio del Bosque, Huracán dominated the match, taking the spotlight from Gimnasia with a resounding 3-0 win in the 13th round of the Apertura. Ignacio Campo opened the scoring for the visitors at the 16-minute mark of the first half, concluding a well-crafted play. Following that, Lucas Blondel doubled the lead for Huracán at the 65th minute. Finally, with just two minutes left in the game, Jordy Caicedo sealed the deal, scoring the third goal and cementing the victory at the 82nd minute.
Despite Gimnasia’s numerous attempts to turn the tide—totaling 25 shots, 9 of which were on target—the home team was unable to find the net. Two of their efforts were thwarted by the woodwork, while 14 went off-target.
The standout player of the match was Hernán Galíndez, the Huracán goalkeeper, who made six critical saves to keep a clean sheet. Ignacio Campo was also pivotal for the visitors, scoring one of the goals.
Gimnasia’s coach, Fernando Zaniratto, employed a 4-5-1 formation with Nelson Insfrán as goalkeeper; Bautista Barros Schelotto, Gonzalo Errecalde, Enzo Martínez, and Pedro Silva Torrejón in defense; Ignacio Miramón, Nicolás Barros Schelotto, Ignacio Fernández, Lucas Castro, and Manuel Panaro in midfield; and Marcelo Torres spearheading the attack.
On the other hand, Huracán, managed by Diego Martínez, set up in a 4-4-2 formation, featuring Hernán Galíndez in goal; Ignacio Campo, Fabio Pereyra, Máximo Palazzo, and César Ibáñez in defense; Lucas Blondel, Facundo Waller, Emmanuel Ojeda, and Óscar Romero in midfield; while Oscar Cortés and Jordy Caicedo formed the attacking duo.
