Ante Budimir later doubled their tally, scoring from the penalty spot in the 80th minute. However, Alavés responded fiercely, with Toni Martínez equalizing just before halftime in the 44th minute. Lucas Boyé ensured a dramatic finish by leveling the score with a penalty in stoppage time around the 46th minute of the second half.
