In an electrifying match held at the Manuel Murillo Toro Stadium, Tolima and Santa Fe fought to a 2-2 draw during the 10th round of the Colombian league.
The game started with a bang as Tolima took an early lead thanks to a goal from Jersson González in the 4th minute. However, Santa Fe quickly found their rhythm, equalizing with Hugo Rodallega’s goal in the 18th minute. Just before the end of the first half, Omar Fernández put Santa Fe ahead with another goal in the 39th minute.
The excitement continued into the second half, where Juan Pablo Torres became the hero for Tolima with a precise strike in the 28th minute, leveling the score once again. The standout performance from Torres included not just his goal but also four attempts towards the goal.
Tolima almost regained the lead when Adrián Parra struck the post with a powerful shot at the 32nd minute mark in the first half, but the match remained in balance.
Rodallega also made his mark on the match for Santa Fe with a goal and six attempts at the goal. Both players were pivotal for their respective teams.
