In the highly anticipated Week 6 clash of the MLS, FC Dallas delivered a stellar performance, decisively defeating DC United with a score of 4-0 at the Audi Field. Under the guidance of coach Eric Quill, the Dallas team wasted no time, with Logan Farrington opening the scoring just 15 minutes into the first half, setting the tone for the game.
The scoring continued with a well-executed set piece finished by Patrickson Delgado in the 45th minute of the first half. The dominant performance was capped off by goals from Osaze Urhoghide in the 32nd minute of the second half and finally Petar Musa, who found the net in the last minutes of the match, securing the emphatic win.
Osaze Urhoghide’s standout display earned him the title of Man of the Match. The FC Dallas defender not only scored one of the goals but also successfully cleared three dangerous balls from the area, showcasing his defensive skills.
An equally impressive performance came from Petar Musa, who contributed significantly with one goal and four attempts on target against DC United.
On the other side, DC United’s coach René Weiler opted for a 4-4-2 formation with Sean Johnson in goal, backed by Silvan Hefti, Sean Nealis, Lucas Bartlett, and Keisuke Kurokawa in defense.
