San Lorenzo celebrated a well-deserved victory at the Nuevo Gasómetro during matchday 13 of the tournament. Manuel Insaurralde scored the only goal of the match in the 10th minute of the first half, decisively influencing the outcome.
After receiving a well-placed assist from Nahuel Barrios, Insaurralde unleashed a powerful shot from within the box, leaving the opposing goalkeeper with no chance to make a save.
The match was fairly even, with both teams hitting the woodwork. Rodrigo Auzmendi and Facundo Farías were left frustrated after missing opportunities to score.
Manuel Insaurralde was undoubtedly the star of the match, contributing significantly with his performance. He not only scored the solitary goal but also completed 25 accurate passes and intercepted the ball 3 times throughout the game.
Another player to shine for San Lorenzo was Rodrigo Auzmendi, who tested the Estudiantes’ net with 6 shots and provided 4 successful passes.
San Lorenzo’s coach, Gustavo Álvarez, implemented a 5-3-2 formation featuring Orlando Gill in goal; with a defensive line including Gregorio Rodríguez, Ezequiel Herrera, Jhohan Romaña, Lautaro Montenegro, and Mathías De Ritis; a midfield comprised of Nicolás Tripichio, Manuel Insaurralde, and Facundo Gulli; while Nahuel Barrios and Alexis Cuello led the attack.
On the other side, Estudiantes, managed by Alexander Medina, opted for a 4-4-2 strategy with Fabricio Iacovich guarding the goal; a defense consisting of Eric Meza, Leandro González Pirez, Tomás Palacios, and Eros Mancuso; a midfield featuring Lucas Piovi, Mikel Amondarain, Alexis Castro, and Tiago Palacios; and Fabricio Pérez and Facundo Farías at the front.
