In the 7th round of the Apertura Tournament, Argentinos Juniors showcased their offensive power against Aldosivi, coming away with a solid 2-0 win at the Estadio Mundialista in Mar del Plata. The opening goal came from Iván Morales in the 28th minute of the first half, followed closely by a stunning shot from Román Riquelme, who found the net in the 37th minute to seal the game.
A key moment of the match was Riquelme’s goal, where he expertly placed the ball into the right corner after receiving an assist from Hernán López Muñoz. The ball was simply out of reach for the Aldosivi goalkeeper.
Román Riquelme emerged as the standout player of the match, contributing a crucial goal and making two key defensive clearances. Another player to shine was Brayan Cortés, the goalkeeper for Argentinos Juniors, who demonstrated his skills by saving three critical shots from the opposing team.
