Playing on their home turf at Arquitecto Antonio Ubilla, Cerro Largo triumphed over Danubio with a score of 2-0 during the 9th round of the league. The first goal came from midfielder Santiago Marcel in the 38th minute of the first half, while Tiziano Correa sealed the win with a goal in the 44th minute of the second half.
Santiago Marcel’s outstanding performance earned him the title of Man of the Match, having scored one goal. Another key player for Cerro Largo was forward Tiziano Correa, who also netted a goal in the game.
