In a commanding performance, Pasto defeated Boyacá Chicó with a scoreline of 2-0 during the 12th round of the Colombian league. The breakthrough came in the 34th minute when Andrey Estupiñán converted a penalty, putting Pasto ahead. Jonathan Perlaza sealed the victory with another goal in the 76th minute of the second half.
Before the opening goal, Santiago Córdoba almost put Pasto in front but hit the post in the 21st minute. A strong display was also seen from Wilson Morelo, who was involved in several attacking plays for Pasto.
