Star of the match, Adam Bareiro, impressed the crowd with his exceptional performance, scoring both goals for the Xeneize.
Bareiro opened the scoring just before halftime, netting his first after a well-executed play at the 41st minute. He doubled the lead in the second half, confirming Boca’s power by finding the net again at the 58th minute.
Despite a valiant effort, Marco Pellegrino saw his attempts thwarted twice as he struck the woodwork, denying Boca Juniors another moment of celebration.
