In a thrilling Week 1 MLS matchup, FC Dallas claimed a 3-2 victory against Toronto FC, largely thanks to the remarkable performance of Petar Musa, who netted two crucial goals. The game was a rollercoaster of emotions, with the score level at 2 until the very end, when coach Eric Quill’s squad secured the win.
Petar Musa started off strong with an impressive goal in the 8th minute. After a stunning solo run down the left flank, he expertly placed the ball into the bottom left corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
Besides Musa’s standout performance, Logan Farrington also made a significant contribution by scoring the third goal in the 37th minute. He, too, demonstrated his skills with three shots on target during the match.
The tactical setup employed by FC Dallas was a 4-4-2 formation, featuring Michael Collodi in goal; with a defensive line of Shaquell Moore, Sebastien Ibeagha, Osaze Urhoghide, and Bernard Kamungo; a midfield composed of Herman Johansson, Kaick, Ramiro, and Christian Cappis; and the attacking duo of Petar Musa and Logan Farrington.
On the other side, Robin Fraser’s Toronto FC also utilized a 4-4-2 formation, starting Luka Gavran as goalkeeper; supported by a back four of Richie Laryea, Kosi Thompson, Walker Zimmerman, and Kobe Franklin; a midfield featuring Malik Henry, Alonso Coello, José Cifuentes, and Jonathan Osorio; alongside forwards Derrick Etienne Jr. and Djordje Mihailovic.
