However, Gabriel Abeldaño equalized for Atlético just moments into the second half (0’ of the second period) with a well-crafted play.
The match took a suspenseful turn as Lautaro Godoy from Atlético Tucumán nearly shifted the momentum, hitting the post with a shot in the 59th minute. Just when it seemed both teams were headed for a draw, Instituto found the net once more through Giuliano Cerato, who struck in the 46th minute of the second half, clinching the win.
