Rosario Central emerged victorious at the Gigante de Arroyito stadium, defeating Barracas Central 2-0 in the fifth round of the Apertura. The highlight of the match was Enzo Copetti’s brilliant header that opened the scoring in the 12th minute of the second half. Ángel Di María doubled the lead with a second goal in the 44th minute of the same half.
Copetti’s goal was a standout moment, showcasing his skill as he headed the ball into the left corner of the net following a precise cross from Agustín Sández.
Shortly after, Di María came close to increasing the deficit with a powerful shot that hit the woodwork in the 57th minute, preventing Rosario Central from extending their lead further.
Di María was undoubtedly the player of the match, contributing significantly with one goal and making six attempts on target throughout the game.
Copetti also had an impressive performance, adding one goal to his tally and attempting two shots of his own.
