The encounter between Los Malevos and La Lepra concluded without a winner in their Fifth Round clash, held on Monday at Guillermo Laza Stadium.
Dep. Riestra started strong, scoring first through Nicolás Benegas in the 34th minute. However, Newell’s came back to level the match with a penalty goal from Juan Ignacio Ramírez in the 42nd minute of the second half.
Despite having the edge in attempts on goal with 18 shots throughout the match, Dep. Riestra couldn’t secure a victory over Newell’s.
