On date 6 of the Clausura, Chivas secured a narrow victory against Club América this Sunday, winning 1-0. Armando González was the hero of the match, scoring the decisive goal in the 40th minute of the first half.
After receiving an assist from Diego Campillo, González fired a shot on target that beat the rival goalkeeper, sealing the match in favor of Chivas.
Armando González was undoubtedly the standout player, having not only netted the only goal but also attempted four shots on goal against Club América.
Another key player was Bryan González, who made his mark at the Estadio Akron with two shots on target during the game.
