In an intense showdown at La Bombonera, Boca Juniors found themselves held to a goalless draw against Platense during their fifth round of the Apertura.
Juan Ignacio Saborido came close to breaking the deadlock with a powerful shot just 10 minutes into the match, only to see his effort hit the post.
Despite dominating possession with 61%, Boca Juniors could not find the back of the net and walked away with just one point.
Lautaro Blanco stood out as Boca’s key player, effectively defending against three crucial attacks and clearing three balls from danger zones.
On the other side, Franco Zapiola emerged as a pivotal figure for Platense, successfully completing 18 passes, intercepting 4 balls, and attempting three shots on target.
