In the fifth round of the Clausura, Pachuca triumphed over FC Juárez with a convincing score of 2-0. Salomón Rondón opened the scoring with a goal in the 31st minute of the first half, while Christian Rivera sealed the victory with a second goal in the 42nd minute of the second half.
Pachuca’s Carlos Sánchez nearly put his team ahead early but struck the post with a powerful shot just 13 minutes into the game.
Sergio Rodríguez emerged as the standout player, making four attempts on goal and showcasing his skill throughout the match. Rondón was also instrumental, netting one goal and firing three shots.
Pachuca’s coach, Esteban Solari, opted for a 4-5-1 formation featuring José Eulogio in goal, accompanied by Carlos Sánchez, Eduardo Bauermann, Sergio Barreto, and Brian García in defense. The midfield was manned by Sergio Rodríguez, Christian Rivera, Alan Bautista, Alexei Domínguez, and Oussama Idrissi, with Rondón as the sole striker.
On the other side, FC Juárez, led by coach Pedro Caixinha, employed a similar 4-5-1 setup. Sebastián Jurado was their goalkeeper, supported by defensive players Javier Aquino, Jesús Murillo, Moisés Mosquera, and Manuel Mayorga. The midfield included Guilherme Castilho, Rodolfo Pizarro, Denzell García, Raymundo Fulgencio, and José Rodríguez, while Óscar Estupiñán spearheaded the attack.

In the upcoming round, Pachuca will face Atlas at home, while FC Juárez will host Necaxa at the Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez.
