In the 23rd round of Serie A, Juventus delivered an impressive display, defeating Parma 4-1 at Ennio Tardini Stadium. Defender Bremer was the star of the match, netting twice to lead his team to victory. The home side briefly came back into the game with an own goal from Andrea Cambiaso in the 50th minute.
Juventus struck first with Bremer scoring in the 14th minute and shortly after, Weston McKennie doubled the lead in the 36th minute with a sensational finish from inside the box. The visitors continued their attack with Jonathan David scoring in the 63rd minute.
Although Parma managed to find the net through Cambiaso’s own goal early in the second half, it was not enough to shift the momentum back in their favor. Two attempts from Francisco Conceição struck the woodwork as he sought to reduce the deficit but was unable to find the back of the net.
Bremer’s outstanding performance earned him the title of the match’s most valuable player, thanks to his solid defensive work and crucial goals. Meanwhile, Conceição’s aggressive play led him to shoot on goal five times, showcasing his influential presence in the midfield.
Under the guidance of coach Carlos Cuesta, Parma fielded a 4-5-1 formation with Edoardo Corvi in goal, supported by a back line of Enrico Delprato, Alessandro Circati, Mariano Troilo, and Emanuele Valeri. Their midfield was comprised of Adrián Bernabé, Lamine Keita, Hans Caviglia, Jacob Ondrejka, and Gaetano Oristanio, while Mateo Pellegrino led the attack.
For Juventus, Luciano Spalletti opted for a similar 4-5-1 setup with Michele Di Gregorio as the goalkeeper, protected by a defensive line of Pierre Kalulu, Bremer, Lloyd Kelly, and Andrea Cambiaso. The highly skilled midfield featured Manuel Locatelli, Khéphren Thuram, Francisco Conceição, Weston McKennie, and Kenan Yildiz, while Jonathan David spearheaded the assault up front.
Referee Francesco Fourneau officiated the match, which saw Parma remaining in 16th place on the table with 23 points, while Juventus elevated themselves to 4th place with 45 points.
In their next fixtures, Parma will travel to face Bologna, while Juventus will host Lazio.
